What is included with the system?
The core system includes four WT5100 51.2V 100Ah rack batteries and one 7.2kW 120/240V split-phase hybrid inverter. Rack, shelf, cables, protection devices and other installation accessories must match the final system design.
How much energy and power does it provide?
The four WT5100 batteries provide 20.48kWh of nominal storage. The inverter delivers 7.2kW of rated 120/240V split-phase output and up to 10.8kVA of peak power.
What cabin loads can the system support?
The system can support prioritized cabin essentials, water systems, compatible heating or cooling equipment and selected workshop loads. Actual coverage depends on simultaneous demand, appliance starting surge and circuit configuration.
How long can it provide overnight power?
Planning estimates range from approximately 37.3–41.9 hours at a 0.4kW overnight base load to 3.3–3.7 hours at a 4.5kW heavy load. Actual runtime varies with load, reserve settings, efficiency, temperature and operating conditions.
Can it run 120V and 240V equipment?
Yes. The inverter provides 120/240V split-phase pure sine wave output and supports motor starting up to 4HP. Output from a single 120V phase is limited to 6kW by the wiring terminals, so loads must be balanced and sized correctly.
Can solar and a generator recharge the batteries?
Yes. Two MPPT groups support up to 9kW of PV input with a 500V maximum PV open-circuit voltage, and generator mode provides a recovery option during extended low-sun periods. Charging performance depends on array design, weather, active loads and generator configuration.
Do the batteries include BMS protection?
Yes. Each WT5100 includes an intelligent BMS that monitors voltage, current, temperature and cell balance while providing overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent and short-circuit protection. CAN and RS485 communication are supported.
Is professional installation required?
Yes. The four batteries weigh approximately 405.6 lb combined and require a supported rack or shelf in a dry indoor location. The wall-mounted inverter requires suitable structural support, ventilation clearances and code-compliant electrical installation.
