FAQs
What is included with the system?
The package includes six WT5100 51.2V 100Ah batteries, one six-slot battery rack, one 12kW 120/240V split-phase hybrid inverter, six positive cables, six negative cables and six communication cables.
How much energy and power does it provide?
The six WT5100 batteries provide 30.72kWh of nominal storage. The inverter delivers 12kW of continuous 120/240V split-phase output and up to 18kVA of peak power.
Can it back up an entire home?
The system can support prioritized household essentials and selected high-demand 120/240V loads. Actual whole-home coverage depends on simultaneous demand, appliance starting surge and how the backup circuits are configured.
How long can the system provide backup power?
Planning estimates range from approximately 2.7-3.0 days at a 0.35kW essential load to 5.0-5.6 hours at a 4.5kW heavy load. Runtime varies with load, battery reserve, conversion efficiency, temperature and operating conditions.
What does the 200A bypass rating mean?
The 200A rating applies to utility power passing through the inverter to connected loads. It does not increase the inverter's 12kW battery-mode output, battery capacity or outage runtime.
Can it use solar, grid and generator power?
Yes. The hybrid inverter can coordinate dual-MPPT solar input, utility power, generator input and battery storage. Final source configuration must follow the inverter manual and applicable electrical codes.
Do the batteries include BMS protection?
Yes. Each WT5100 includes an intelligent BMS that monitors voltage, current, temperature and cell balance while providing overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent and short-circuit protection. CAN and RS485 communication are supported.
Is professional installation required?
Yes. The battery rack weighs approximately 608 lb when loaded, and the inverter weighs approximately 82.7 lb. Install the system in a dry, code-compliant location with suitable floor support, wall support, clearances and overcurrent protection.
